For a long time, the estate differed little from a peasant yard - only in the height of the house and the presence of a small fruit garden. The heyday of estate culture occurred in the time of Peter the Great, when palace and park ensembles appeared and estates began to acquire European features.
During the program, participants will learn to understand the terms: estate, estate, dacha, palace and park ensemble... They will also become acquainted with the creation of an estate ensemble, which includes: a house church of the 17th century, a manor house built in the late Baroque style at the beginning of the 18th century and 18th century manor park with regular layout.
Guests will learn what the house originally looked like, how it was built and what changes the owners made to the arrangement; they will see images that will help them track changes in the architecture of the house.
