The almanac "Melikhovo" is a periodic annual publication that features popular science articles and archival materials on the themes related to Chekhov and the local history. This collection includes articles about the life and works of Anton Chekhov, as well as about the Chekhov family and the people who were close to the writer throughout his life. It also has information about the places that were associated with Chekhov's life and work. A significant section of the almanac deals with materials from the III Chekhov International Reading Sessions held in Melikhovo, titled "Chekhov Museums: History, Problems, and Prospects", which were held on March 17-19, 2007. Additionally, there are materials from a conference titled "Descendants of Pushkin - Guardians of Traditions", which was held at the branch of the State Literary Museum-Reserve A.P. Chekhov's "Manor of Lopasnya-Zachatievskoye" on June 9th.2007. The final section "Melikhovo Diary" traditionally presents a chronicle of the cultural and scientific life of the museum for the period from 2007 to 2008.
