The almanac "Melikhovo" is a periodic annual publication that features popular science articles and archival materials on the themes related to Chekhov and the local history. This collection includes articles about the life and works of A.P. Chekhov, as well as about the Chekhov family and the people who were close to the writer throughout his life. It also has information about the places that were associated with Chekhov's life and work. The first section of the collection, titled "On How It All Began", focuses on the life and work of Maria Chekhova, the sister of Anton Chekhov, in connection with the 140th anniversary of her birth. There is also an article called "In the Chekhov House in Melikhovo". It provides readers with an insight into the atmosphere of the Chekhov home. The current life of the Melikhovo Museum is covered in two sections: "Melikhovo - A Theatrical Mecca" and "Chronicle of Museum Life."
