The A.P. Chekhov Melikhovo Museum-Reserve hosted events dedicated to the Teacher's Day.

To warm up with a cup of tea and cakes, as well as to learn how people met, married, divorced and brought up children in the 19th century you could visit the exhibition "Marriage Fever".

The guests also attended a staging by the Melikhovsky Theatre  Chekhov's Studio, a tour of Chekhov's house, and the programme ended with a Jazz Monologue concert. Vitaly Kovalenko, pianist of the Gradsky Hall Theatre, performed jazz compositions, blues and classical masterpieces in jazz.
