The exhibition “Arkhangelskoye Estate: serf craftsmen, artists, architects” (From the collection of the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve) opened at the Lopasnya-Zachatievskoye Estate Museum.

The staff of the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve, who prepared the exhibition for the opening, limited themselves to those areas of creativity of serf craftsmen that, with rare exceptions, were associated with estate life. In the interiors of the manor house in Lopasna, the works presented look natural and organic, demonstrating the inextricable connection between noble and serf culture. The connection that arose in the space of the manor's estate.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by employees of the museum-reserve:

Olga Valerianovna Nesterova, Deputy Director for Exhibition and Scientific Education Work;
Nadezhda Ivanovna Dozorova, head of the scientific and fund department;
Konstantin Grigorievich Bolenko, head of the research department.

Olga Valerianovna spoke about the museum project, which is presented in two halls of the estate house. About what united noble estates, incl. Arkhangelskoye and Zachatiye. She noted that the atmosphere of the house, the work of the employees, their attitude towards organizing the exhibition, aroused the desire for further cooperation with this museum. Nesterova O.V. proposed organizing several joint projects with the Lopasnya-Zachatievskoye Estate, since there are many topics that can interestingly and vividly present life in a noble estate.

Bolenko K.G. gave a tour of the exhibition, talked about the work of serf craftsmen, painting workshops, a “porcelain establishment”, crystal and furniture production in Arkhangelsk.

Then, guests of the exhibition were invited to a festive concert.
