From April to August, the Pushkin Central City Library in Novomoskovsk, Tula Region, hosted a travelling exhibition from the Lopasnya-Zachatievskoye Estate Museum, a branch of A.P. Chekhov's Melikhovo Museum-Reserve.
It featured photographs of interiors, exhibits, views of the estate and photo portraits of the owners and guests. The exhibition tells about the history of family and friendship ties of the owners of the Vasilchikov estate with Pushkins, Lanskys and Goncharovs. Visitors learnt a lot of interesting things about the history of the estate, the most significant pages of which are connected with the fate of the descendants of Alexander Pushkin. The travelling exhibition was visited by about 1500 people. Visitors of the library had an opportunity to get in touch with the history of the old noble manor, with the life of the descendants of the great Russian poet.
From the Tula region the exhibition went to Moscow and will be presented in the V.Y. Wolf Cultural Centre. V.Y. Wolfe Cultural Centre in the Griboyedov Library No. 1.
