May Day with «Neskuchny Chekhov»
The A.P. Chekhov Melikhovo Museum-Reserve hosted an event that once again brought together Anton Pavlovich's fans.
In the main house of the writer the guests were introduced to the Melikhovo period of his life, and in the educational exposition "The Writer's Kitchen" they were told about writing habits, pseudonyms, famous Chekhov's notebooks.
One could learn about Anton Pavlovich's musical preferences in the musical lounge, where the best students of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire performed masterpieces of world classics that once sounded in Chekhov's house.
The guests had a delicious and interesting time at the dacha tea party. Over a cup of fragrant tea and cakes, the guests were told about the joys and difficulties of 19th century dacha life.
The acquired knowledge, logic and erudition could be applied at an entertaining quiz-show held by the organisers of the project "Brain Mania" - a quiz-show in Chekhov. We would like to express our gratitude to the entire Brain Mania team and personally to Anton Marichev!
