This is the seventeenth time the Meeting of Members of the International Community of Chekhov Museums and Libraries has been held. In 2020. The Meeting was cancelled due to the covid epidemic. Then for two years it was held in an online format. And finally, this year the participants of the Community were able to meet again in Melikhov.

On the first day, a plenary session was devoted to project and exhibition work in Chekhov museums. The participants of the Community got acquainted and discussed the new concept of development of the territory and activities of the State Literary and Memorial Museum-Reserve of A.P. Chekhov "Melikhovo". E.D. Orlov, Head of the Chekhov House-Museum in Moscow, told about the new exposition of the museum. Colleagues told about their realised and planned exhibition projects, about anniversary events, about forms of work with visitors.

On 18 March the plenary session will be devoted to the work of Chekhov libraries. Last year the Yaroslavl Regional Library celebrated its 120th anniversary! Colleagues will tell about the anniversary events held on this occasion. The libraries of Taganrog and Istra will share their projects and forms of work. The Community will conclude on 19 March with a trip to the State Historical and Art Museum "New Jerusalem".
