As part of the programme, participants learn about the history of the manor house, the traditions of needlework of the 19th century - embroidery, knitting, appliqué, and everyday life in noble families.
Nadezhda, Ekaterina and Natalia Goncharovs, like all noblewomen, were wonderful needlewomen, very skilfully managed the household in the Lopasna estate. They taught the basics of needlework to the pupils of the school at the Anno-Zachatievsky church, and made gifts for children for every Orthodox holiday. Our "School of Needlework" continues these traditions.
Each lesson consists of a theoretical and practical part (2 academic hours). Tickets can be purchased for any lesson, or you can buy a season ticket.
Nowadays, most children have very poorly developed fine motor skills, it is very difficult for them to work with small objects, needles, thread, etc.
Therefore, some classes are divided into several days and, if necessary, participants can finish their work at home.
