A traveling exhibition of the Melikhovo Museum opened in Yelabuga
The Exhibition Hall of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve hosted the opening of the travelling exhibition of the Melikhov Museum "Chekhov. Life Line".
It covers four main periods of the writer's life and work: Taganrog, Moscow, Melikhovo, Yalta. Visitors will learn about the origins of the writer's talent, his literary and charitable activities, his difficult trip to Sakhalin, his hobbies, friendships and creative ties. All four sections, corresponding to the periods of Chekhov's life, are illustrated with photographs and documents.
The exhibition features lectures for schoolchildren, students and fans of Anton Pavlovich's work.
