About the event

“Rather scary tales” directed by Kirill Loskutov is not only for children, it is without a doubt a performance for the whole family.

The world around us can be unkind at times. Fairy tales are a wise advisor. There is danger - act; When you want to achieve something, don’t hesitate. Cunning is a dangerous weapon, so fairy tales teach children to be on guard - moving away from their parents can get them into trouble. These are the very fairy tales that were designed to help us overcome the darkness, our fear and go into the magical world of our imagination.

Of course, our young viewers will see stories that are not only instructive, but also told with great humor. After all, fairy-tale villain characters can be scary, funny and charming at the same time. The world of fairy tales is amazing. In “Scary, Scary Tales,” miracles and magic await our young viewers at every step; in it you can meet many colorful characters and even the real Baba Yaga! In the struggle between good and evil, everyone will definitely be rewarded for their good deeds.

The inspiration for the creation of the performance was the well-known fairy tales of A.N. Afanasyev. Books by this author can be seen in many home libraries, but not everyone has read most of these exciting stories. For Afanasyev, a fairy tale is a monument of folk art, which he strives to preserve intact for posterity. A fairy tale for him is a beautiful poetic work, which, “like the creation of an entire people, does not tolerate the slightest deliberate deviation from goodness and truth.”

Come to our new performance “Scary, Scary Tales”, you will be interested in discussing a lot with your children after it. Think about it, but all the wisdom of fairy-tale advice is necessary in everyday, sometimes difficult reality, not only for our children, but also for ourselves...
