The tradition of hiding one's real name behind all sorts of nicknames and pseudonyms, which is widespread nowadays, dates back to ancient times. Since the times of antiquity, people have been writing works, expressing their opinions, criticising under fictitious names. During the investigation you will learn what pseudonyms are, when they appeared, for what reasons they were used by writers, and also behind what names young Chekhov hid, how many pseudonyms he actually had, and what they meant? At the game "Whose Mask?" you will learn what names several writers hid behind at the same time, why there were so many similar pseudonyms and try to distinguish Chekhov's pseudonyms from similar pseudonyms of other writers.
